Job Description
Who We Are
Night Market is a full-service eCommerce agency that builds performance-driven eCommerce strategies, marketing programs and shopping experiences that enable brands to accelerate eCommerce sales growth.
We opened our virtual doors in February of 2020, born in the midst of a transformation in retail and eCommerce that has shaped and sharpened our capabilities and approach, and have been partnering with leading brands to drive growth ever since.
We were founded on the understanding that brands looking to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving ecommerce landscape need a new breed of “digitally native” eCommerce partner that truly understands how to win in the new digital aisle. Created with this focus and as an integral part of Horizon Media, the largest independent media agency in the U.S., we break down the silos between media and eCommerce to help optimize the full modern consumer path to purchase from discovery through conversion.
At Night Market, we understand the value that different experiences, skills and perspectives can bring to both our team and our clients, so we strive for an environment where our employees feel welcomed, supported and empowered. Our simple recipe for team success is to hire talented people (thinkers, doers, dreamers, makers) challenge them and give them every opportunity to grow.
Job Summary
The UX/UI Designer reports into the Creative Director and is responsible for the successful delivery of client Website Experience engagements as part of the Experience team, responsible for designing and developing the wireframes, prototypes and rationale behind different website interfaces driving performance through the business to achieve a cohesive and optimal converting experience for all customer segments across touchpoints.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing and eCommerce to gain experience and grow relevant knowledge and skills in the highly-valued discipline of UX/UI. You will be working with one or multiple digital channels – depending on the engagement – to plan and deliver strategic and tactical UX/UI website innovations that drive measurable performance improvement to conversion, sales and other business KPIs.
As part of Horizon Media, you will also be collaborating not only with the Night Market team, but with other Horizon Media teams as well as partners and vendors (e.g. branding agencies, marketing platform vendors) and the client. As such, leadership, communication, relationship-building and teamwork are all important elements of this role.
Also, as part of a startup within a larger company and working in the highly dynamic field of ecommerce, you will be working within a fast-paced, result-oriented environment where you will contribute to problem-solving, hands-on execution, driving innovation and given the opportunity to wear multiple hats in achieving the goals or our clients and our business.
We are looking for a motivated leader that is dedicated to growing this service and practice among existing, new and prospective clients to build a team of direct reports in the future.
