QuinStreet is looking for a Senior Paid Social Media Buyer who has experience in performance marketing to join our Media Buying Team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing high budget paid social campaigns on ad networks such as Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Quora, and more.This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will possess expertise in building, executing, and optimizing paid social media buys within ad-buying platforms. You will be responsible for developing and scaling direct response geared paid social campaigns to drive performance and scale. We are seeking a self-starter who has experience in customer acquisition and driving needle moving results in this channel, ideally in the lead generation space.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join a growing time with lofty goals of growing Paid Social into a $100M+ channel.
Responsibilities
Develop, launch, optimize, and monitor Paid Social campaigns, managing the entire process from start to finish
Ensure campaign alignment with QuinStreet objectives and KPIs
Collaborate closely with account managers at ad networks to implement best practices and optimize targeting strategies for improved campaign performance.
Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new creative and advertorial testing
Contribute to the creative direction of campaigns, providing regular guidance to the creative team on images, videos, and advertorial ideas to be tested.
Provide regular reports and feedback to Director of Paid Social, offering insights into media performance and advocating for necessary support to enhance campaign yield and margin
Stay updated on industry trends and developments in Paid Social advertising, implementing innovative strategies to drive campaign success and maintain competitive advantage.
Consistently and proactively direct and launch new tests and experiments with the goal of further driving yield and margin
A/B test ad copy, images/videos, and marketing funnels to improve campaign yield and margin
Identify and help establish new traffic source opportunities, both directly with media publishers and new ad networks
Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years experience in Social Media advertising with a proven track record of success in developing and executing Paid Social strategies, preferably in the lead generation space.
In-depth knowledge of Paid Social platforms and tools, including Facebook and TikTok
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data driven decisions.
Experience in Performance Marketing is a must, preferably in financial services and/or home services
Expertise with Microsoft Excel
Understanding and knowledge of landing page design and optimizations
Familiarity with direct response geared copywriting
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
Strong interpersonal and collaborative capabilities, cross team collaboration is crucial
Previous P&L management experience is preferred, but not required
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 USD to $100,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
