Job Purpose
The Director of Paid Media Strategy will be responsible for shaping and executing the paid media strategy across various platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, and more. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of performance marketing, who can drive results through data-driven insights and innovative campaign strategies. The Director will oversee a team of paid media analysts, ensuring that client objectives are met and exceeded while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies tailored to client goals, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of paid media professionals, providing guidance and support to drive their success and career development.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting, utilizing data to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
- Identify emerging trends, best practices, and opportunities in the digital advertising landscape to keep our agency at the forefront of industry developments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and account management, to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
- Manage budget allocation and oversee spending across paid media campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum ROI.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to clients, clearly communicating complex data in an understandable manner.
- Drive innovation within the paid media division by exploring new platforms, technologies, and strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in paid media strategy, preferably within a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing large-scale paid media campaigns across various platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of current trends and best practices in digital marketing, particularly in paid media.
- Proficiency with analytics tools, ad platforms, and reporting software (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
