The AWS Marketing team is looking for a Sr Paid Media Manager to support our Training & Certification Global Campaigns team, owning paid media strategy, and working with Campaign Managers to execute paid media alongside other channels.
In addition, this person will own paid search for Training & Certification, as well as managing our organic social presence via our LinkedIn showcase page (currently 1.2M followers). They will be responsible for growing presence of our LinkedIn presence, working with other teams to create content and manage social boosting budget.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Own paid media strategy for Training & Certification Global Campaigns team. Work with Campaign Managers to implement paid media alongside other channels. Report on health of the paid media channel including testing, optimization.
- Own paid search channel and manage investments and outcomes.
- Lead LinkedIn organic social including the Training & Certification showcase page with responsibility to grow followers and work with other teams to source content and manage social boosting budget.
- Identify opportunities to innovate across publishers, formats or new technologies.

About The Team
The Self-Service Growth and Training (SSG&T) team creates and executes innovative marketing strategies that attract new and existing customers to learn about and increase AWS usage. The Global Campaigns team within SSG&T runs campaigns and programs designed to help train and nurture prospects and customers and to motivate them to get AWS Certified.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- 5+ years working in digital marketing including paid media and paid search
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of segmentation and developing customer profiles experience
- 5+ years of working with creative teams, content managers and marketers to bring brand promise to life experience
- Experience in supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research
