Position Overview
We're seeking a Marketing Technology Manager with experience in e-commerce operational environments to manage product launches. The successful candidate will leverage his/her experience to optimize product configuration processes, meet publication schedules set with business stakeholders, create/analyze incident reporting to continuously improve operational and live-site quality and ensure the smooth management of vendor teams responsible for website production activities. This role will help Production Operations achieve its vision of delighting customers by producing flawless online experiences across global markets.

Responsibilities
Planning
- Conducts medium-sized (e.g., a feature) planning by seeking to identify key milestones, providing input into developing plans, and contributing to team discussions.
- Understand and articulates business impacts.
- Develops planning documents and drives discussions to drive action and ensure execution, managing ambiguity and complex scenarios.
- Works across teams to provide status updates, drive progress, and align business stakeholders.
Project Management
- Supports tracking of deliverables and timeliness in workflow tools (e.g., ticketing systems, project management information tools).
- Follows governance processes to ensure any possible changes/issues are socialized prior to implementation.
- Updates required documentation (e.g., playbooks).
- Orchestrates program deliverables and requirements across stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains relationships with lateral stakeholders.
- Manages stakeholder expectations by identifying information to be communicated, providing communications, and driving action.
- Escalates stakeholder issues to colleagues.
- Identifies information to be communicated.
- Communicates with stakeholders to provide clarity and transparency.
Technology Management
- Supports team by participating in business stakeholder interviews and providing feedback on existing products and services.
- Utilizes understanding of details gathered to align requests with Engineering colleagues and contributes to defining requirements.
- Contributes to communicating business justification.
Other Responsibilities
- End to end program/project management of major global product launches and strategic initiatives on Microsoft Digital Store from planning through execution.
- Partnering with multiple business stakeholders on requirements, comps and content to create specifications for a team of production vendors.
- Maintain alignment with global stakeholders on status, timelines, and change/risk management through partnering and communications.
- Innovate across processes, tools, and vendor relationships to optimize quality, agility, and efficiency.
- Develop technical solutions like automated workflows for seamless & efficient process flows across teams.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience using automation tools and platforms (i.e., Power Automate and PowerApps suite)
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) technology/process improvement experience.
- Experience in technical program management with focus on marketing technology
- Experience running end to end program/project management of product launches.
- Demonstrated ability to organize team processes and workflow to guarantee delivery of stakeholder requirements and proven track record of prioritizing and delivering projects in an ambiguous and changing environment.
- Understanding of industry-standard or purpose-built content management and e-commerce environments across global production centers.
- Ability to use data and insights to create actionable process improvements and partner with others to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
- Proven success in managing large-scale cross-functional launches with a high degree of executive maturity, impact and influence and experience in developing and managing workflow automations.
Compensation
Marketing Technology IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
