In this role, your goals will be:In three months:
- Familiarized yourself with the proposed business capability setup and suggest adjustments
- Developed relationships with the new e-Commerce teams and broader stakeholders across the group
- Support and be involved with the ongoing e-Commerce projects
- Established contact and relationships with key technology e-Commerce partners locally
In six months:
- Reviewed and refined the campaign management strategy, enhancing the engagement and commercial models
- Further developed local relationships across the agencies and with key platform partners
- Develop tools and best practices to help agencies manage e-Commerce campaigns
In 12 months:
- Developed a roadmap for the next 1 to 3 years for the e-Commerce campaign strategy, framework, commercial models & automation
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
- Develop and advise on eCommerce marketing & campaign strategies for clients across the marketplaces, platforms, and properties, in accordance with their brand goals and current trends.
- Ensure consistent and efficient planning, execution, analysis, and optimization of visibility campaigns as per the brand’s objectives to ensure the stellar customer experience
- Review the performance of key metrics against set goals, benchmarks and previous performance
- Provide regular insights to clients detailing performance, campaign optimizations, and new opportunities
- Work closely with the GroupM’s agencies, internal teams and platform SPOCs to ensure a comprehensive approach
- Oversest practices
- Constantly raise the bar for GroupM’s eCommerce practice by regular evaluation of our offering and adoption of best in class services, technology & processes.
- Maintain P&L for own function to ensure profitability and optimum utilization of resources
What you’ll bring:
- Strong subject matter expertise in ecommerce marketing across categories
- Sound analytical skills and a good technical understanding as well as quality and solution orientation
- Good sense of communicating with customers and ability to present complex contexts in a comprehensible way
- Advanced excel skills
- Stakeholder management skills
Minimum qualifications:
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver results, strong collaboration skills, comfort with ambiguity and a high level of business / commercial acumen.
- 10-12 years of experience in online & performance marketing
- Understanding of key retailer dashboards and performance drivers.
- In-depth know-how and experience in the field of Amazon Marketing Services (Advertising Console/AMS), ideally also DSP, and practical experience in Amazon SEO. Similar experience of Flipkart & other commerce platforms.
