The Role
As the Senior Associate, Marketplace Intelligence, you must have the vision, business acumen, and strong analytical skills needed to analyze and derive marketing insights from ad spend and pricing data. In this role, you will become adept at interpreting strategic insights and communicating these insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
You should have the ability to work in collaboration with managers to derive insights, develop new methodologies and enhance existing systems. Creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and persistence in working with others are key in this role. Excellent communications skills are essential.
Your Impact
- Analyze and interpret ad spend and pricing data relative to:Marketplace trends (linear and digital)
- Market supply/demand relationships
- GroupM activity and key partner relationships
- Collaborate with discipline leadership in developing new analysis, tools, and capabilities
- Organize existing data and identify significant data opportunities to drive value/insights for investment and client account teams
- Support the production of periodic deliverables and fulfillment of ad hoc requests
- Participate in Business Development efforts by providing in-depth business analysis, as directed
- Identify emerging industry trends that could be relevant for current and potential clients
- Form and manage collaborative relationships with internal teams
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, or other related fields preferred
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis preferred, media agency or consultancy work is a plus
- Familiarity with the various advertising platforms and channels, including Linear (Traditional TV), Online Video, Streaming, Display, Search, Social, Out-of-Home, Audio, and Print
- Strong experience with MS Office applications and data manipulation (R/Python, etc), as well as other business intelligence tools
- Proven ability to present complex data reports and statistics in a simple and clear way
- Ability to interact with senior management, understand corporate strategy, and present actionable findings
- Proficiency in juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines
