We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Performance Media and Martech to join our team and lead our media campaigns and identify a technology roadmap that powers future performance.
Position Overview
The Director of Performance Media and Martech will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that generate incremental demand. This role will also oversee the integration of marketing technology to optimize campaigns and enhance the customer journey across digital platforms. This position is a hands-on role, and will require an individual with self-starter and team-player instincts to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Leadership: Develop and implement cohesive digital media campaigns that align with the company's business goals and enhance the customer experience.
- Agency Management: Oversee the day-to-day relationships with our Digital Media and Technology agencies. Manage to budget, SLAs, and business outcome.
- Martech Integration: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing technologies, ensuring they support marketing objectives and improve efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to monitor and test campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Identify opportunities for incremental revenue growth and implement changes based on those insights.
- Budget Management: Manage to the digital marketing budget and spend plan, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including brand marketing, IT, and operations to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
- Brand Development: Champion the brand's digital presence, ensuring all digital touchpoints reflect the brand's values and messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of developing successful digital marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, email marketing, social media management, analytics).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate within and across teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Passion for the restaurant industry and a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
