What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Media Manager in the Digital Investment department, you will support the development and execution of strategic paid social media campaigns for a large American supermarket chain. The role requires a broad range of skills including collaboration with an integrated team to guide strategic social buying on various platforms, identifying targeting tactics based on campaign briefs, and defining media goals measured against precise KPIs and ongoing internal and client education. The role requires a commitment to driving innovative paid media solutions and flawless execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of paid social media campaigns, including audience strategy, flighting, and budget allocation
- Support the end-to-end execution of campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat
- Executes Quality Assurance (QA) of paid social cross-platform campaign builds
- Help schedule, maintain, and monitor ad delivery, ensuring successful deployment and performance
- Collaborate with the strategy team to gather insights and contribute to internal and client education on emerging digital and social ad technologies
- Contribute to the analysis and optimization of campaign performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in developing actionable insights
- Assist in tracking and reporting media buys to drive customer acquisition at efficient KPIs
- Develop a foundational understanding of audience targeting by leveraging first and third-party data tools
- Build and maintain client and vendor relationships, serving as a secondary point of contact on specific projects
- Assist in the preparation, research, and presentation of paid social media plans
- Participate in client work sessions and contribute to innovative thinking to meet business objectives
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in digital media buying and/or planning at a media agency or social buying platform
- 1+ year experience in Ads Manager for the following social channels: Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat
- Familiarity with third-party optimization tools
- Hands-on experience in building and managing campaigns on Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat Ads Manager is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, journalism, social media, or a related field preferred
- Basic understanding of the media landscape and key digital and traditional media channels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a sharp attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Interest in understanding clients' business goals and how they translate into media strategies
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
