Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Training Manager to lead our training department, focusing on training classes, leadership development, and process development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and improving overall organizational performance. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive training programs while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive strategic projects and process improvements. This role requires someone with a passion for leadership development, process optimization, and driving results through efficient training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of training programs for commercial teams, with a focus on leadership training and team development.
- Coordinate and manage training classes for new hires and existing employees, ensuring training content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement leadership training programs to enhance the effectiveness of current and future leaders within the organization.
- Facilitate learning initiatives to support employees' growth and development, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to lead high-performing teams.
- Oversee process development initiatives to streamline operations, improve training delivery, and ensure scalability across the organization.
- Conduct regular assessments of training processes and make recommendations for improvements, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership teams on strategic projects aimed at driving business growth, such as increasing sales and revenue streams through effective training programs.
- Support sales teams by integrating learning & development initiatives that improve commercial performance and align with business goals.
- Partner with other departments, including HR, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure training programs support broader organizational initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Assist in the creation and management of key customer relationships, utilizing training as a tool to enhance interactions and improve client retention.
- Utilize performance metrics and data-driven tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize impact.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and systems to track progress and outcomes related to training and development efforts.
- Assist in building budget forecasts for training initiatives and track spending to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Develop additional financial metrics related to training programs to measure ROI and performance.
- Oversee the continuous updating of processes related to training, ensuring that all materials are current and relevant.
- Identify potential risks within training processes and address them proactively to minimize operational disruptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training, leadership development, or process improvement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in commercial or sales-driven environments is a plus, with a focus on learning & development initiatives that impact business outcomes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective training programs, with a proven ability to drive results through training and development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with performance management systems and reporting tools, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
