OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Support Specialist to join our dynamic Public Sector Team. This role is designed to provide critical research and administrative support to senior business development professionals as they drive growth in federal IT modernization and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business development within the federal space and a background in business, analysis, and communications.
In this role, you will be tasked with the following:
• Conduct in-depth research on federal opportunities, agencies, and competitors using industry-standard tools and resources.
• Support the identification and tracking of emerging trends and opportunities in the federal market.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise reports and summaries to support the analysis of federal agencies, opportunities, and market trends to present actionable insights for senior BD professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to gather necessary data and insights to support pursuit strategies.
• Collaborate with senior BD professionals to design and refine visually compelling and impactful client presentations.
• Manage and update opportunity tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely information is available across the organization.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with federal clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Attend industry events, summarizing topics and actionable next steps
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal business development processes.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with acute attention to detail.
• Strong learning mindset and drive for continuous evolution and self-improvement, including exceptional communication and negotiation skills, personal adaptability, and high empathy and curiosity.
• Strong analytical and research skills to identify and evaluate relevant opportunities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• A learning mindset with curiosity about federal government operations and contracting.
• Experience with federal business development tools such as GovWin, eBuy, FedConnect, FPDS, and GovTribe is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

Additional informationPay Range: $90,000 - $150,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
