OverviewThe VP Head of Growth is a visionary, natural leader, who prioritizes and leads all new business strategies for the agency.
- Proven track record of engaging and growing her/his/their agency’s roster of current and net new clients plus revenue with senior client executives who are the decision-makers of digital marketing, marketing transformation, marketing technologies, or integrated marketing for stand-out brands
- Responsible for all agency marketing & PR efforts
- Provide the strategic direction to the business development team that will drive qualified leads into the new business pipeline
- Business development, financial management rigor, smart prospecting, pursuit prioritization and mapping
- Honing a tailored marketing strategy, optimizing pitch approach, crafting clear narrative showcasing creative, data, and technology
- Instilling a win or learn mentality amongst his/her/their team
- Accountable tracking of progress against plans and budgets, and creating a culture of aggressive growth within the agency
- Responsible to help close new business deals after initial meetings with potential new clients
- Represents and sells-in the full suite of Arc capabilities and other services that are offered across Publicis Groupe
- Ability to collaborate in broader Publicis Groupe pitches involving multiple agencies (Power of One)
- Must be an expert in not only the clients of today but where the industry was yesterday and where it is expected to be tomorrow
- Drives holistic marketing that raises the awareness of key executives, work, capabilities, thought leadership, etc
- Builds a library of selling assets and best practices
- Cultivates business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing
- Accountable for win/loss ratio and healthy business development financials
- Develops a relentless, collaborative, unbeatable business development team
- Creates the culture of learning, honing, and optimizing to drive growth

Qualifications- Minimum 12+ years of agency growth experience and a successful track record pitching and closing clients
- Successful track record (at least 12-15 years) of building business for a creative agency. Ideally with shopper marketing/creative commerce.
- Proven experience in building and leading a cross-functional team in the pitch/business development process
- Ability to reach across the cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization to drive more wins
- Ability to coach and mentor junior business development and account management team members
- Ability to collaborate with and inform a centralized new business infrastructure for Publicis Commerce (grouping of commerce agencies within Publicis Groupe)
- Ability to understand macro business issues and articulate value generating opportunities supported Arc capabilities
- Self-motivated, can juggle multiple initiatives, and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Needs to be a storyteller, and be able to empathize with clients, to make real, genuine connections
- Dynamic, persuasive presence with outstanding communication skills. Best of the best in “commanding the room,” reading and knowing the target audience. Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level agency marketing or marketing transformation executives
- Success-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, resourceful operator
- Excellent problem-solving skills and skilled at working effectively with matrixed, cross-functional teams
- Excellent collaboration skills in building relationships with delivery and client success team
- Outstanding writing and presentation skills

Compensation Range: $146,490.00 - $210,420.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
