OverviewThe Supervisor, Strategy & Investment will lead the development, execution, and stewardship of media plans for Zenith. As the Supervisor, you effectively leverage your experience, knowledge, and skills to push fresh thinking while balancing client, agency, and team needs.
Responsibilities- Lead & support on Internal/Regular statuses, delegate responsibilities to Associate/Negotiator, manage comms across Investment/Strategy teams for action items
- Plays a leading role in all aspects of campaign planning including vendor liaison
- Training/Support for Negotiators in research, presentations, negotiations, buying
- Assist in presentation of data, insights, and media to clients
- Set up quarterly Options Workbooks at start of quarter, help manage & assist with decisioning
- Intimate knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints and leveraging that knowledge to ensure we are best in class in providing clients with media plans that speak to their consumers
- Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value on opportunities
- Assist AD in negotiation of Buys, Value Add Negotiations
- Draw actionable insights based off syndicated data platforms
- Continuously maintain relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
- Lead Upfront plan/cancellation options analysis to support negotiations and buy decisions
- Create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate to our clients
- Oversee the development of plan outlines (budgets, partners, placements, fees)
- Day to Day:
- Oversee RFP development, assist as needed
- Provide robust recos relative to tactics, audience targeting approach, testing opportunities
- Ongoing liaison for vendor relationships – new ideas, meetings, media opps
- Act as a POC for both internal teams, but also clients
- Aid in partner/tactical selection, inform optimization recos
- Work closely with Investment Optimization and Investment Excellence teams on in-campaign and post campaign follow through, Audit presentations
- Have robust understanding & expertise of brands’ ins-and-outs for brand strategy, target audience, flighting approach
Qualifications- B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- 3+ years of media planning/digital activation experience
- Ability to translate data into well-articulated and actionable ideas
- Have strong written and verbal skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
- Needs minimal supervision, relying on your own experience/ judgment
- Resource for others in resolution of complex problems/issues
- Excellent management, motivational, organizational, interpersonal, and quantitative/analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn new propriety software and processes quickly and proficiently
- Understanding of Activation/Negotiation team functions

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $90,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
