We are seeking a Senior Strategist, Paid Search who will play an important role in our future growth plans.

Job Description

The ideal candidate for our Paid Search Engine Marketing, Strategist position is passionate about digital media, specifically Search Engine Marketing (SEM). This candidate is a self-starter, go-getter, and always looking to grow professionally and proactively share knowledge with team members. The candidate has proven experience managing complex digital campaigns from inception, implementation, and ongoing management to exceed client set goals/KPIs. Ability to work under pressure while having multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines is essential. Staying up-to-date in the latest Paid Search digital technologies, techniques, trends and best practices will contribute to your overall success. Attention to detail is a must.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and optimize integrated Paid Search Engine Marketing (SEM), YouTube, Shopping, Google Display Network (GDN) campaigns based on industry best practices.
Perform market research, competitive analysis, and keep up to date with emerging trends.
Participate in and help lead internal and client presentations on performance reporting and insights, opportunities, and emerging trends.
Assist in leading further development of processes and automation, optimization schedules, training, and overall capabilities across internal teams.
Foster a "one-team" mindset, and be willing to help assist team members where needed.

Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the paid search ecosystem.
Agency experience required.
Solid understanding of Paid YouTube strategies and best practices preferred.
Strong foundation and passion for digital media and advertising landscape. Experience in running tactics outside of search a plus.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex client campaigns and relationships against performance metrics.
Experience utilizing bid-management platforms (Search Ads 360, Skai, Marin) to support and manage campaigns.
Expertise within Google/Bing editor platforms.
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to speak with and present to internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
Google / Microsoft Certification preferred.
Strong analytical and technical aptitude including Microsoft Excel and math proficiency.
Ability to think proactively, maintain a high level of productivity, and manage multiple priorities.
Desire to work within a collaborative team setting while also being able to work independently.

Office Location

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
