Our client is hiring a Director of Performance Marketing to join their rapidly growing organization in the petcare industry.

Candidate Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years in a Senior-level position with experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or media buying.
Ideally managing paid media campaigns for CPG or e-commerce brands.
This role does sit onsite in the company's Long Island office, so candidates must be able to be in-office 4 days/week (Nassau County).
Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of paid digital campaigns across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, etc.), driving both direct-to-consumer and retail channel performance.
- Work closely with external agency partners to ensure digital campaigns are executed effectively, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting to track key KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CPA, CPL, CPC, conversion rates).
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, bid management, and creative iterations.
Agency Management
- Manage relationships with external agencies, providing direction and ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Review and provide feedback on campaign strategies, creative assets, and execution plans developed by agencies.
- Ensure that agency teams deliver on performance goals and are held accountable for key deliverables.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Leverage data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, etc.) to extract actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.
- Prepare regular performance reports, presenting key findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Identify trends and opportunities in campaign data to inform future strategies and investments.
Collaboration & Strategy Development
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Product) to ensure campaigns align with brand objectives and business priorities.
- Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging digital platforms, and advertising technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4-6 years of experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or media buying, with a strong background in managing paid media campaigns for CPG or e-commerce brands.
- Proven experience overseeing agency relationships and ensuring campaign deliverables are met with high standards.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, Programmatic, etc.).
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from large data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear, actionable way.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing digital landscape.
