Job Title
The Manager, Paid Search is a part of the DTC team and will lead the Paid Search Specialist team to execute paid search advertising in alignment with cross functional teams. This role will be responsible for managing paid search spend in a way that produces meaningful ROI for the business.
Responsibilities
- Create, manager, and optimize campaigns across multiple search engines
- Analyze performance, run diagnostics, draft analyses, run experiments, optimize existing campaigns, and build new ones
- Prioritize the most scalable opportunities and through testing and iteration, grow a portfolio of customer acquisition sources
- Learn quickly, move fast, quickly run and analyze experiments, and make decisions prioritized by business impact
- Lead a team of 2 paid media specialists
- Build campaigns from the ground up, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and ad copy generation and experimentation
- Monitor campaign performance, perform deep dive analysis, and flag opportunities to grow or optimize performance across search marketing tactics
- Keep our search campaigns up to date with the latest and greatest information from the site, from our internal partners, and industry trends/insights
- Constantly analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities
- Build new relationships and work in parallel with other functions in the organization
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience managing paid media campaigns and paid search advertisement
- Extensive Google/Bing experience
- Knowledge of advertising vendors
- Proven experience managing and succeeding with multiple campaigns
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
- Strong ability to research, analyze, and propose keywords for campaigns
- Demonstrable ability using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- College degree, preferably Marketing related
