The principle purpose of the Sr Manager Paid Media is to manage a team of responsible for planning, implementation, and optimization of paid digital advertising marketing campaigns across multiple customer segments with an enterprise lens.
The Sr Manager Paid Media will work alongside a team of direct reports to execute all paid media efforts including campaign ideation, setup, optimization, testing, and analysis.
The Sr Manager Paid Media will be responsible for delivering connectivity across platforms within the channel, and will formulate campaign strategy, research keywords, targeting data, campaigns, potential vendor partners, and competitive activity to craft effective digital marketing programs.
To accomplish this, the Sr Manager Paid Media must have knowledge and experience in the ever-changing digital media ecosystem and a deep understanding of retail/merchant organizations to ensure our campaigns are directed at priority categories.
The Sr Manager must ensure they collaborate across marketing to boost and complement priorities of the enterprise and keep a constant focus on the business rhythm to always optimize.
The individual must also be able to lead effectively in a global environment, analyze complex data sets to identify target audience opportunities, forecast results and budget expectations.
The Sr Manager Paid Media works closely with the Lowe's Media Planning, Merchandising Marketing, Marketing Operations, Data & Analytics, eCommerce, and IT teams to align plans to maximize advertising efforts against total business objectives and priorities within their area of focus.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for leading a team in the strategy and efficient day to day management of digital marketing campaigns
- Monitors budget pacing, taxonomy and ad copy optimization, and testing strategy to ensure efficient and effective delivery of campaigns
- Infusing the learnings in-real-time back across all platforms
- Creates a feedback loop and reporting on what is working and not to drive improvements across the enterprise
- Leverages digital media methodologies and tools required to deliver efficient and profitable digital marketing campaigns while balancing enterprise needs
- Oversees media buying strategy, campaign creation, optimization and rigorous testing strategies aligned to business priorities to achieve KPI target for assigned platform or business area
- Collaborates with core media channel stakeholders to provide consistent and cohesive approach
- Stays current with new advances in paid digital marketing, the competitive landscape, and vendor capabilities; leverage that knowledge to champion current and future business plans and strategies; drive digital marketing innovation, thought leadership, and best practice sharing throughout the organization
- Hires and manages a team of digital marketers and helps them meet their performance objectives by providing the appropriate coaching, tools, feedback, and training
- Proactively explores and tests new campaign types, tactics and strategies to continually optimize campaigns
- Lead team in continually making ad copy, campaign structure, and landing page optimization resulting in improved campaign KPIs
- Oversees a portion of a multi-million dollar advertising budget
- Stewards campaigns to maximize performance in appropriate platform (Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
- Works with other digital marketing teams (SEO, Social, Digital Media), to maximize on-site and in-store traffic and revenue
- This position manages/supervises people
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Communications or Related Field and 8-10 Years
- 8 years Marketing, Media or Related Field
- 5-7 Years 5 years Proven demonstration of delivering digital marketing campaigns
- 1-2 Years 2 years Leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Business, Marketing, Communications or Related Field
- 5-7 Years 5 years Retail experience
- 5-7 Years 5 years Agency experience
