GroupM Nexus is the world's largest performance engine that integrates paid, owned, and earned to deliver true business outcomes for our clients.Role Summary & ImpactAs a Group Director, Paid Social, you will provide attentive oversight of assigned client accounts and direct a willing and talented team of digital experts. You will bolster client relationships, identify new business opportunities & integrate Paid Social standard methodologies. You will be accountable for the successful project delivery on these accounts and revenue health. You will achieve this by leading the appropriate strategies, develops POVs, provide thought leadership, and drive innovation. The overarching strategies you invent will anchor and glue all the workstreams and execution together.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the chief architect of the delivery strategy, testing strategy, forecast, and plan for key accounts within your category, ensuring all paid social deliverables are met on time and of the highest quality.
- Develop strong relationships with the search community, vendors, Group Directors and Digital Leads.
- Provide in-depth strategic recommendations for current clients and strategize with sales on future prospects.
- Negotiate and resolve any raised client, agency, and vendor conflicts.
- Grow revenue within the current client base by identifying new and cross-product opportunities.
- Scrutinize planning budgets to identify strengths and weaknesses and ensure proper financial allocations.
- Develop and approve manpower estimates against new and assigned engagements.
- Serve as an advisor to social directors and associated staff on related accounts, ensuring personal and career development are prioritized.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- 9+ Years experience leading paid social campaign management strategy, working knowledge of Paid Search is a plus.
- Fortune 100 client-facing strategic experience preferred.
- Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business.
- Strong data analytics & strategy background.
- Prior experience managing a team is an absolute must; demonstrating the ability to nurture junior members of a team and serve as a mentor.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $125,000 to $295,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
