Who We’re Looking For
This is a really exciting role in an environment that has so much opportunity for a HR professional.
Reporting into the Director, People & Talent, North Asia, you’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics for employees based in Korea and Japan. You will provide exceptional People admin support and make sure HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value.
You will see yourself learn and grow into an all-round HR Generalist.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
HR Operations, Processes and Policies
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare employment contracts, addendums and company letters
- Process payroll via external payroll provider
- Work with Office Managers in Korea and Japan where necessary
- Support the People Director to update, implement, and maintain company policies in accordance to local regulations and constantly flag out any legislative changes
- Responsible for system maintenance including clock in/out system and overtime
- Support the People Director in managing and looking at ways of improving employee benefits with insight from market trends and internal needs
- Support in managing HR and Office budget
Requirements
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU
- Min. 3 years HR experience in an MNC
- Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment
- Having strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
- Having strong sense of ownership
- First class written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Able to solve problems using own-initiative and work autonomously
- Positive and cooperative attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a culture with diversity
- Attention to detail
- Proficient using Microsoft Office software packages
- Korean Native
- Fluent English - Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening all Business Level
- Other language skills will be a plus (Japanese)
