Lamark is seeking a progressive creative leader in digital advertising and performance media. This exciting new role within our performance digital creative team called “Lamark Lightning” will help shape the future of digital advertising. The ideal candidate is an adventurous creative leader who is ready to harness the power of technology to drive advertising creativity to new levels of imagination and performance.
This individual requires five key characteristics:
- A feel for and experience with creating great digital advertising across performance media channels – 2-5 years of experience or an exceptional initial advertising position with the right strength of background, demonstrated creative work an entrepreneurial spirit
- Passion for using new creative technologies – generative ai, image generation, data and integrated media flows – to elevate
- Design capabilities to use technology and build workflows/systems to accelerate progress on behalf of clients
- Understanding (and active use) of social channels and analytics to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness)
- Ability to lead, be THE expert in digital performance creative as well as work with clients, strategists, creative and media teams
Responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Lead technology-infused creative initiatives for ad performance and optimization, serving a range of agency clients
- Gather insights and guidance for digital advertising campaign goals
- Translate goals into performance creative, leveraging creative technologies and blending those resources with design craftsmanship
- Exploring creative concepts and working with team members to test for resonance and impact

Digital Creative Qualifications:
The Creative Leader will possess a strong advertising portfolio, design/art directions skills and can quickly and efficiently translate creative guidance into advertising that results in exceptional advertising performance. They embrace the use of AI and other creative-enablement technologies in the creative process. This individual is quick and agile to create and respond to advertising opportunities on behalf of clients and internal media teams. And, this role requires a passion for solving real problems for real people through technology, performance data, design and iteration.
- Uses of and embraces of AI and other creative enablement technologies
- Designs and creates digital ad and social campaigns
- Creates consistently high-performing digital marketing while following brand guidelines
- Works closely with strategy, creative, client service and media channel partners
- Mastery of advertising creative principles for impact and engagement such as typography, composition, imagery selection, scale, etc.
- Involvement in digital ad testing
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns at a time
- Proactive, problem solver
- Ability to work independently and with a collaborative team, and contribute to process and technology capabilities to advance the creation and effectiveness of digital advertising
- Degree in communication/graphic design, digital design, digital advertising, or comparable degree program, or commensurate experience
- Agency or client-side experience in the creation of digital advertising campaigns
- Digital tool proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; experience with Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, and other technologies
