Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Performance Marketing Director to lead our performance marketing efforts in Taiwan. This is a senior role and will be responsible for driving and managing a multi-million dollar budget, building a world-class team, and leveraging advanced Mar tech and analytics to optimize spend and maximize ROI. The right candidate will have a deep understanding of the changing landscape in performance marketing and a proven track record of driving business growth.
What You Will Do
- Own budget management, strategy development & execution of performance marketing for Taiwan.
- Drive a multi-million dollar performance marketing budget to meet acquisition and retention goals.
- Develop a clear and concise strategy to deliver overall revenue goals within financial guardrails.
- Build a high performance team across key channels like Search, Paid Social, Affiliates and more.
- Lead the development and deployment of world-class MarTech infrastructure to optimize marketing spend and efficiencies.
- Utilize, deep analytics and data science to understand customer and channel performance and user journeys.
- Lead experiments to continuously learn and improve marketing operations
- Take full ownership of performance marketing budget and its impact on the business.
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in performance marketing (mostly B2C) and at least 5 years leading a full scale performance marketing / app growth team with multi million dollar budgets using multiple channels.
- Deep expertise in at least one performance marketing channel like search, display, or affiliates and experience leading other channels in a multi-million dollar spend environment with high transparency and agility on reporting and optimization.
- Deep understanding of the evolving digital marketing landscape with emergence of AI, social commerce platforms and the changing role of search on how to best optimize spends and ROI.
- Expertise in growing app adoption to drive purchases from commerce focussed tech companies.
- A proven track record of using data to optimize spend across publishers like Meta and Google and an ability to analyze and present data driven solutions to business problems.
- Demonstrable experience using complex attribution methods to drive business growth.
- A deep understanding of ios and aos specific growth strategies and limitations.
- Engineering background with a degree in business / data science / analytics is preferred.
