About The Role
The mission of the Ad Operations team is to support content creators and their businesses by continuously building and maintaining relationships with Ad Exchange Partners. This involves collaborating with internal teams to cultivate potential partnerships, troubleshoot for new and existing partners, and stay informed about new products and technologies.
The ideal candidate should be ready to play an integral role in meeting this mission. The Ad Operations Specialist will work in a fast-paced team environment and is eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Publisher Support and Publisher Success teams to understand the publisher onboarding process and provide support for day-to-day issues and questions.
- Monitor ad quality using internal and third-party tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the site approval process across 30+ partnerships, maximizing revenue opportunities post-launch.
- Ensure complete coverage of the website portfolio, including the completion of Comscore Traffic notifications by publishers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve partnership site approval issues to prevent revenue loss.
- Address supply chain issues in Google Ad Manager (GAM) that impact publisher revenue, escalating as needed.
- Manage the Direct platform, ensuring smooth advertiser spend through effective troubleshooting, forecasting, and campaign management.
- Travel for team retreats, publisher/industry events, and annual all-hands meetings (approx. 15%).
Location
Applicants must be based in the United States.
You Have
- 2+ years of experience in Ad Operations or a related field.
- Experience in the Ad Tech industry and familiarity with Ad Technologies such as Google Ad Manager and SSPs, preferred.
- Experience working remotely in a distributed team environment.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets with knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and basic lookup functions.
- Knowledge of various CMS platforms, including WordPress, Blogger, and SquareSpace.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
- Experience working cross-functionally with different teams.
- A desire to learn internal processes and provide feedback and ideas on how to improve them.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats, publisher/industry events, and the annual all-hands events (approximately 15% of the time).

Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000 USD/year.
