About the Role:
We are looking for an Associate Director to join the Data & Tech team that focuses on Audience, Data and Platforms. You will collaborate closely with the team to recommend and implement audience and data strategies across a breadth of brands. The role with span audience insight generation driven by data, create audience frameworks to support strategy, planning and campaign activation, and help inform data types across in activation approaches. The candidate should also be a key collaborator with the clients and forge a close working relation to handle the day-to-day efforts.
Your Impact:
- Show thought leadership in creating audience recommendations, from both a strategic and tactical standpoint across the client’s brands
- Generate audience insights from various data platforms and story tell the audience recommendations
- Audience insights to span different scenarios: retention, acquisition, prospecting, and opportunistic growth areas
- Use tools to assist and support the creation of audience insights, market sizing, and audience sizing, leading to audience creation and segmentation
- Align audience profiles/segmentation with appropriate investment strategy in partnership with planning and activation teams
- Recommend different data types and how they should be used in activating audiences. First, second, third party recommendations based on the goals
- Consult and recommend first party data strategies with clients
- Be a strategic consultant on recommending how First party data can be used both from an insight and activation standpoint
- Work with the measurement team to support and create test & learn agendas/hypotheses to ensure learnings are gleaned on campaigns
- Implement tests to help future-proof clients in the ever-changing media and data landscape
- Recommend client optimizations substantiated by Audience data and analytics
- Have understanding of Marketing and Advertising technology and be able to communicate the flow of data across platforms
- Be on top of the changing identity landscape to assist clients on their data and technology conversations
- Identify and access most relevant data solutions, technology partners (identity, survey-based, behavioral, intent, passion points, triggers, motivation, transactional, psychographic, location, etc.)
- Begin to identify and recommend solutions to the team as it pertains to data and measurement gaps/opportunities
- Foster client trust with openness and transparency all while managing expectations
- Bridge internal teams with strong interpersonal skills and open lines of communication

- Basic knowledge about digital data types (1st, 2nd, 3rd party data), and marketing and advertising technologies/partners

- Growing knowledge of the media landscape and can synthesize information into ideas

- Activation and insights Platform experience a bonus: e.g., Meta, Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Google Marketing Platform, etc.
- Knowledge on data onboarding tools a benefit e.g., LiveRamp
- Proficient in using and interpreting large data sets to tell a clear client story
- Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
- Technical proficiency, particularly MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience
- Ideal background in audience/data strategy/analytics/Insights

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
