Job Description
As Director of Technology (Financial Services), you will:
- Lead enterprise-level modern architecture design and cloud adoption for financial services clients
- Drive engineering transformation to enable accelerated growth and enhanced customer experiences
- Architect and implement scalable, microservices-based digital platforms
- Collaborate with senior clients and internal teams to achieve business outcomes
- Contribute to Publicis Sapient's engineering practices and mentor diverse talent
- Represent Publicis Sapient in industry forums
You will be a hands-on software engineering expert with an agile mindset, accountable for high-quality delivery across all SDLC phases. Your expertise in enterprise architecture, robust software engineering practices, and cloud solutions will be crucial in transforming our clients into top tech firms.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in defining end-to-end enterprise architecture and leading large-scale, complex cloud-native solutions development
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring large engineering teams (30+)
- Strong software development background with expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Go, Scala, Python) and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js)
- Experience with containerization, DevOps practices, and API development
- Knowledge of various data solutions and their applications
- Excellent consulting and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management and running client workshops
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end business outcomes in Agile environments
