Job overview
This a newly created role to help drive the commercial success of eCommerce within Digital practice. Your primary function will be to ensure you maximise the effectiveness of eCommerce Marketing in particular Amazon, on your client.
You’ll be expected to advise clients on how to maximise the effectiveness of their eCommerce Marketing at all stages, from eCommerce specific media to content and Conversion Rate Optimisation. You may have a background including eCommerce, Amazon Optimisation, Search (PPC / SEO), Content, Consulting, Manufacturing Brands and/or Retailer Clients. You do not need expertise in all of these areas but will need to develop the relevant skills and knowledge to be effective in role.
This role is ideal for someone looking to help shape a growth area for our agency, and whilst it is positioned within a specific account/s, you’ll also be expected to work with the wider eCommerce Practice, which is a horizontal team that covers all clients within the agency.

- Inspiring and supporting wider Mediacom teams, such as Planners and Account Leads, with eCommerce opportunities
- Inputting into the roadmap to develop our eCommerce products and propositions
What would you expect to achieve in the first 3 months?
- Built strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of your clients’ eCommerce businesses.
- Start to develop eCommerce roadmaps for your clients.
- Begin to put your stamp on how eCommerce functions within the wider business unit
- Scope out new eCommerce opportunities for your clients.
What will you need?
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the eCommerce landscape including Amazon; Retailers and Marketplaces; Retail readiness, Content for Discovery and Conversion; Paid Search; and Programmatic Display
- Comfortable adding value to specialist eCommerce clients through sharing of best practice and promoting/driving innovation
- Understanding and experience of the wider Digital landscape
- Excellent people skills
- Display a helpful and positive attitude with a flexible outlook towards the duties of the role
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial in nature and comfortable in all business situations
- Agile and able to prioritise tasks whilst keeping perspective of the bigger picture
