Come join the vibe!The Insights Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of qualitative and quantitative (survey) research, ensuring client projects are completed accurately and on time. The Insights Specialist reports to the Director of Insights and will be involved in projects from the initial identification of objectives to the final presentation of results. The ideal candidate is curious about people and understanding their motivations for doing what they do. The Insights Specialist is expected to manage multiple client projects at one time, so being proactive, assertive, highly organized and have strong attention to detail are critical for success.Key responsibilities include:Qualitative research projects with guidance or support from senior researcher(s)
- Define research objectives, design research plan, and write proposals
- Write screeners and discussion guides
- Ensure recruiting is progressing and meets goals
- Set-up online qualitative research or assist with logistics for in-person qualitative
- Concisely summarize findings and make actionable recommendations
Qualitative research projects with guidance or support from senior researcher(s)
- Define objectives, design research plan, and write proposals
- Write questionnaires and ensure the accuracy of programmed questionnaires
- Ensure fieldwork is progressing well and meets goals
- Determine data analysis needs by working with the Statistical Research Manager
- Create charts or other visual representations of results for client reports
- Concisely summarize findings and make actionable recommendations
Insights team project management
- Manage project budgets: entering estimates, updating projections and ensuring accuracy of invoices
- Lead monthly project billing process for the Insights Team
Trends analysis and reporting
- Summarize and share consumer and cultural trends to help deepen agency understanding of our target audiences
Qualifications:
- Two to four years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, mass communications, advertising or psychology
- Knowledge of market research methodologies
- Experience uncovering insights from consumer survey data and translating them into marketing recommendations
- Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
