Strategy and Execution : EMEA Reinsurance Growth Manager
This role will accelerate the development and delivery of EMEA growth initiatives in alignment with Regional, Growth and Broking Leadership.
Additionally, the role will be key to link local growth activities with global strategies and priorities and work with the Global Head of Growth and Broking Strategy on relevant global initiatives.
The EMEA Growth Manager, Strategy & Execution will support the EMEA Strategic Growth and Broking Leader to drive strategic growth in the region.
Demonstrating an understanding of EMEA business needs, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and balancing local with global requirements will be key to success.
In this way, the role will be instrumental in enabling the regional team to make better decisions in strategic and tactical matters, have more informed discussions, leverage data and analytics, adopt global tools and outstanding sales practices, growing capacity for client and broking teams to spend time with clients and trading partners, ultimately culminating in achieving new business growth in EMEA.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Support the EMEA Growth and Broking leader in strategic growth planning to drive delivery of regional growth objectives:
- Drive the development of annual Strategy Plans, collaborating with leaders and functions across the region
- Consider trade-offs and prioritisation of local initiatives
- Track delivery of impact on prioritised strategic initiatives
- Leverage data and analytics, such as market assessment and pipeline opportunities, to drive decision-making for meeting growth objectives
- Understand EMEA market dynamics, growth drivers and success factors
- Build relationship with in-country leaders
- Develop and scale standard methodologies to drive outstanding growth - in alignment with global teams
- Support performance tracking against growth targets using global tools and practices
- Structure and develop material for leadership business reviews and to support growth initiatives
- Support Growth governance model in the region including planning, meeting agendas, materials, follow-up tracking, etc.
- Represent EMEA growth teams, demonstrating a detailed understanding of regional business needs, challenges and feedback to advise and optimise global practices, discipline frameworks and reporting
- Support development and delivery of broking strategy aligned to the business priorities
- Partner with other business functions (risk, operations, finance, HR etc) to accelerate execution on initiatives critical to delivering regional growth objectives
- Support Global Growth and Broking Strategy team in planning and delivering global initiatives, especially with those that overlap with priorities for EMEA
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Proven Strategy/growth consulting and/or in-house strategy/growth experience preferably within the (Re)Insurance Sector
- Experience in developing and completing strategic plans and driving growth
- Ability to actively and credibly contribute to the overall strategic business agenda influencing senior leaders
- Strong verbal and written skills, presentation skills
- An analytical and commercial mind-set with the ability to balance strategic needs with accelerating execution to deliver timely business results
- Strategic problem solver, with a solution led approach
- Experience with collaborating across business units i.e HR, Finance, Legal, IT and able to flexible manage and leverage resources in a sophisticated global matrix structure
- Fluency in French or Italian a plus
