Job Description
Our wine and spirits client is looking for a Senior Media Strategist to support their team during a parental leave coverage through July 2025. This is a 40-hour-per-week hybrid role based in Manhattan, NY, with an expectation to come onsite 1–2 times per week based on business needs.
The ideal Senior Media Strategist should have:
- Minimum 12+ years of media planning and strategy experience, both agency and in-house.
- CPG experience; Alc/Bev experience highly preferred.
- Experience managing omni-channel paid media programs for national CPG, alc/bev, or DTC brands, with strengths in digital media.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of brands with a wide variety of budgets with proven success.
- Demonstrable thought leadership on innovation and emerging media.
- Experience in performance-driven media, development and implementation of data-driven strategies, and 1st-party data acquisition strategies and media deployment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect media to business outcomes and processes.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills to garner support from marketing teams/leadership and persuade them on media recommendations.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams and cross-functional work relationships, both internally and with external agency and media partners.
The Senior Media Strategist's Responsibilities:
- Serve as the in-house subject matter expert, providing thought leadership and the ability to strategize and execute media with a precision mindset.
- Work as part of the Media Investment Team and partner with brand and internal cross-functional teams to translate business strategies and needs into integrated marketing and media plans.
- Assist in the strategic and day-to-day management of the media agency and media partners to drive brand growth.
- Be responsible for the hands-on development, management, execution, and optimization of integrated, full-funnel media campaigns for an assigned portfolio of brands.
- Report to a Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Media Investment while working collaboratively with other internal and external partners.

This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
