Job Description
We're looking for a Paid Social Associate Director to join one of our biggest and most versatile media departments.
Become part of our dedicated, multi-disciplinary team and work across a premier, global travel & tourism brand.
You'll help to lead the paid social team and oversee the performance and output of its members.
You'll be expected to input into cross-channel thinking, have a holistic knowledge of paid media, and lead day-to-day communications with clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure accurate set up and management of paid social campaigns across multiple platforms / networks.
- Drive ongoing optimisation and evolution of media activity, developing and managing testing frameworks and beta products to maximise performance.
- Ensure performance-based optimisation tasks (including adjusting budgets/bids, altering targeting and refreshing creative) take place on a regular basis.
- Ensure global processes and protocol are adhered to to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify innovative opportunities to deliver new solutions that demonstrate superior value to clients through close relationships with media and technology partners.
- Develop a strong working relationship with clients, grounded in innovation and a desire to drive results.
- Lead updates in regular client review meetings and weekly status calls.
- Collaborate colleagues from other media specialisms to ensure an integrated, cross-channel campaign strategy and that budget is managed efficiently.
- Ensure accurate monthly reconciliations and finances to ensure spend is delivered according to media plans and clients are billed accurately and timely.
- Mentor junior members of the team, overseeing their workload day-to-day and provide clear direction and feedback.
What we're looking for:
- Possess hands-on experience of major social channels.
- Team management skills to coach, mentor, train and develop members, and oversee others to ensure quality of output.
- Ability to independently research new areas of the market or areas of opportunity and develop POVs to share with colleagues and clients.
- A strong team player who is able to work on a complex account and understand how their work contributes to the client’s business and success.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy throughout processes.
- Excellent numeracy and Excel skills.
- Collaborative, team player with inquisitive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure, on a fast-paced account, and prioritising tasks.
