Job Overview
GSD&M is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Paid Social Campaign Manager to lead the implementation of paid social campaigns across a variety of social media platforms.
They will work closely with the Paid Social Supervisor and Paid Social Campaign Managers to develop and execute campaigns against client objectives.
They will demonstrate a depth of paid social experience, are audience-first in their strategic philosophy, and can identify effective strategies to address client needs.
The Senior Paid Social Campaign Manager also possesses an ability to represent the paid social team to the client and help mentor others while collaborating with the Planning, Investment, Digital, Ad Ops, and Analytics teams to support their clients.

Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
- Manage a team of 1-2 Campaign Managers, while taking an active hands-on-keyboard role to ensure campaigns meet client’s needs
- Serve as a member of the cross-functional client team to understand goals and translate them into paid social media tactics across all platforms and devices
- Manage budget and spending and track performance against KPIs
- Develop audience targeting strategy & campaign setup based on campaign goals
- Ensure all internal processes and QA protocols are being followed and upheld, verifying there are no mistakes lying within any campaign’s in-platform setup
- Leverage planning & forecasting tools to inform budgets and bid strategies
- Proactively and effectively identify, diagnose, and problem solve areas of concern
- Provide regular analysis of campaign performance and areas of opportunity
- Organize campaign materials and set up ads across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, and Linkedin (pending campaign/account)
- Provide value to clients by going the extra mile to understand their business, customer, and inherent challenges
- Stay abreast of social media trends to assist your team in developing analyses and POVs to be shared across teams and with clients
