The Ads Growth marketing team is focused on driving revenue growth for our Merchant partners through Paid Marketing. We do this by engaging our consumer base and providing them with relevant messaging and use cases to drive Merchant and DoorDash revenue. The consumer growth marketing team at DoorDash is growing rapidly and it is expected this person will be a leader on the team, help develop our marketing approach, and grow their career as the team expands.
About The Role
We’re looking for a talented and driven performance marketer with strong knowledge of online marketing/performance channels to join our Ads Growth Marketing team. This role will offer you the opportunity to have an immediate impact by leading the strategic planning to drive growth for our Merchant partners through paid marketing. You’ll be at the forefront of leading analysis, solving complex problems, and making strategic recommendations to drive the business of our Merchants forward. In this role you will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other DoorDash teams (including the Merchant Partnerships, Martech, and Analytics) as well as with our channel platform and agency partners such as Google, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders spanning Merchant Partnerships to Finance - This person will oversee and lead go to market campaign launches for dozens of Merchant campaigns each quarter
- Support in building out the long term strategic plans to grow Merchant revenue growth on DoorDash
- Manage multi-million dollar monthly digital budgets across digital paid marketing channels, including Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), Offline, and other Online channels
- Work closely with agencies and in-house team to optimize media buying in an effort to hit aggressive growth targets for our Merchant partners
- Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities
- Maintain and monitor key metrics across channels including budget pacing, CPA, CVR, and ROAS
- Manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and bidding algo tests
- Test new channel/product features to identify incremental audiences and inventory for accelerating growth
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure goals are met

- Experience managing cross-functional relationships from Senior Manager to Director level
- Experience with Digital and Offline marketing channels includes experience managing media buying, optimization (Paid Social, Search, and Display), and strategic planning either at an agency or in-house
- You have deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV.
- You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing.
- You have an outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
- You have attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make decisions
- Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution (preferred)
- Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data processing scripts (preferred)
- Experience working on multi-sided marketplace businesses (preferred)

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
