Responsibilities
As an Associate Director, you will lead your team in managing integrated media campaigns for a prestigious luxury client, encompassing both digital direct buying and print planning.
You will ensure that campaigns align with the client’s premium positioning, leveraging a deep understanding of the luxury publisher marketplace and the expectations of high-end audiences.
You’ll play a critical role in driving excellence in campaign execution, fostering publisher relationships, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative media solutions tailored to a luxury brand.
Day To Day Your Role Includes
Leadership and Oversight
- Manage and oversee the daily workflow of your team, ensuring campaigns across digital and print are executed flawlessly and in line with luxury brand standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth while maintaining a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
- Act as a key representative of the precision capability, effectively communicating complex media concepts (including programmatic) in a digestible manner to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Serve as the primary advocate for your team with leadership, communicating resource needs and ensuring they are met.
Integrated Campaign Management
- Oversee the development of digital buying campaigns, managing relationships with premium publishers and ensuring optimal performance.
- Lead the creation and execution of print publishing plans, ensuring alignment with the client’s luxury positioning and securing prime placements in high-end publications.
- Provide final QA on all campaigns prior to launch, verifying that creative, placements, and technical specifications adhere to client expectations.
- Review and refine client deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and relevance to client marketing strategies.
Strategic Planning and Collaboration
- Partner with media strategy teams to build strategic campaign plans that integrate digital and print recommendations, identifying innovative solutions that elevate the luxury client’s brand.
- Develop and review strategic proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all recommendations align with the client’s premium objectives and KPIs.
- Maintain strong relationships with high-end publisher partners, identifying opportunities to enhance media performance and secure exclusive placements for the client.
Performance Optimization and Reporting
- Monitor and report on campaign performance across both digital and print, identifying opportunities for optimization to exceed client KPIs.
- Lead post-campaign reporting, synthesizing insights from both channels to deliver comprehensive and actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to forecasting exercises for senior management, incorporating integrated media data and luxury market trends.
Process Improvement and Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement process enhancements to streamline integrated media planning and activation.
- Develop and document best practices for campaign execution, ensuring all team members adhere to standards that meet the expectations of a luxury client.
- Drive thought leadership by sharing emerging trends, tools, and strategies that enhance performance and position the client as an industry leader.
Qualifications
- Six to nine years of deep experience in display and video media buying
- In depth understanding of media planning and programmatic buying, and practical experience with Google Marketing Platform, TheTradeDesk, or similar buying platforms
- Proven experience with at least three or more years of people management experience, overseeing three or more reports in an account management/client services team
- Strong fluency with the digital media ecosystem- you know this world by heart and you keep pulse with the rapid changes happening within it - and a clear, solid understanding of the media planning and buying process
- Extensive experience in a client service position or role
- The ability to organize and manage your work and that of the junior staff on the team
- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to others

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $154,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
