THE ROLE
The Social Media Coordinator will serve as an integral part of a fast-paced, high volume team working to execute tasks supporting the mission of the Social Media team. The work includes organic social media for the brand and the employee advocacy programs. This role will be working with members of the marketing and activation team to create, execute and publish social media content within a heavily regulated environment.
What You Will Do
- Support Social Media Senior Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Provide platforms and administrative support on a daily basis to support the social media program.
- Work with internal business partners to execute social media projects in a timely manner, within corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Generate, edit, and publish consistent content on social media platforms while managing an organized content calendar for efficient content production and posting.
- Publish social media organic posts to the content management systems and direct to social platforms (Linked In, X, Facebook) following our Social playbook of guidelines.
- Understand and embrace the analytics of company published content to help foster continuous improvement.
- Under supervision from and in partnership with the team lead, conduct competitive research, analysis and benchmarking.
What We Are Looking For
- 0-1+ years of experience in a related field.
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications required.
- Successful candidates in this position will have an interest in investing, marketing, communication and/or journalism.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, etc.
- Additional knowledge of other digital and interactive technologies is useful in managing social media initiatives and pursuing projects that will have a high value to the business.
- Strong Microsoft office skills, a keen eye for detail, and very process orientated.
- Commitment to learning, creativity and critical thinking.
- Able to provide reporting and analytics on social media activity.
- Capability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
