The Opportunity
Planview, a leader in Portfolio Management and Work Management, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sr. Demand Gen Manager to drive regional awareness and build pipeline in a fast-paced and competitive market. This role is essential for driving pipeline-generating activities for key Planview solutions.
The ideal candidate thrives in an agile, cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with marketing, sales and product teams to develop and execute high-impact, multi-channel campaigns, while continuously analyzing and optimizing results.
The Sr. Demand Gen Manager should be bold in testing new approaches, able to pivot quickly when needed and focused on driving measurable results. A deep understanding of the US and Canada markets is crucial, as is the ability to design and execute integrated marketing strategies that generate qualified interest and fuel pipeline growth.

Expected salary range for this role: CAD $145,000 - $165,000
What You'll Do
- Collaborates cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, sales leadership, and customer success, to align demand generation initiatives with strategic objectives and business goals.
- Drives awareness and demand for Planview’s Digital Products solutions through multi-channel integrated programs such as content syndication, advertising, social media, email marketing, events, webinars, etc.
- Manages end-to-end coordination and management of demand generation programs including planning, promotion, execution, optimization, and reporting.
- Develops and optimizes email nurture streams, crafting targeted content and messaging to drive engagements that lead to pipeline.
- Partners with go-to-market team to create compelling, relevant content that drives engagements across all stages of the buyer’s journey, from awareness to decision.
- Tracks and analyzes engagement metrics, including lead and MQL activity and opportunity creation, continuously optimizing campaigns and reporting results to management.
- Partners closely with Sales and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to ensure seamless campaign alignment and execution.
- Owns the pipeline responsibility for assigned solutions and territories, with full accountability for demand generation performance across all channels in those areas.
What You'll Bring
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS software marketing, demand generation, and sales processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience.
- Demonstrated experience and depth of knowledge in latest B2B demand generation trends with a track record of consistently delivering measurable results.
- Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, email marketing (Marketo knowledge is strongly preferred).
- Experience and passion for performance optimization, specifically using A/B or multivariate testing for conversion rate improvement.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com to evaluate performance and ROI.
- Strong analytical skills and metrics driven decision making.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills effective in both formal and informal settings.
- Ability to work and execute in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Agile marketing experience is a bonus.
