Our client, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager with a robust background in both Digital and Traditional Media. It is essential that candidates have expertise in both areas, as the role will focus on 60% digital media and 40% traditional media. The primary responsibility / core objective will be performance marketing, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining the most effective allocation of resources to generate leads, converting them into sales, all while ensuring minimal expenditure.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement Media and Channel Integration strategies for key brands and functions.
- Contribute to the broader digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Anticipate trends and identify opportunities for media innovation.
- Lead initiatives that align with the brand plans.
- Foster collaborative relationships across teams to achieve shared goals.
- Guide and mentor teams to meet performance objectives effectively.
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated media strategies.
- Analyse media channels to optimize campaign delivery and return on investment.
- Maintain strong relationships with media partners for effective buying and campaign management.
- Manage and optimize budgets to ensure cost-effective media channel integration.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with internal marketing managers to align strategies with brand objectives.
- Drive digital marketing enablement initiatives in collaboration with technology and enterprise teams.
- Identify opportunities to enhance team skills and processes in market segmentation, digital experience, and analytics.
- Lead innovation processes within the department to deliver improved outcomes.
- Stay informed on market developments and integrate insights into strategic plans.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/SAQA Accredited Equivalent (essential).
- A relevant 3-year degree or diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Media, or Advertising (essential).
- 8–10 years in a media or channel strategy environment (essential).
- 3–4 years in a managerial role (essential).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in media and channel strategy with a focus on integrated planning.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize marketing ROI.
- Experience in market analysis, planning, and decision-making in complex environments.
- High resilience, adaptability, and ability to drive results under challenging circumstances.
- Experience in financial services (advantageous).
