Achieve consistent Month-on-Month (MoM) revenue stability, strengthen customer retention to minimize churn, and drive annual growth from both existing and new customers, scaling the brand's app revenue beyond INR 15 Cr/month sustainably.
Job Description
Scope of Work (in phases)
Customer Retention & Churn Reduction
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Perform cohort analysis to identify churn patterns and at-risk segments.
- Leverage RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) segmentation to tailor retention efforts.
Retention Campaigns:
- Build personalized retention workflows (push notifications, SMS, emails) for:
- Win-back campaigns for lapsed customers.
- Upselling and cross-selling relevant products to active users.
- Develop exclusive loyalty rewards or subscription models for recurring purchases.
Customer Experience Improvements:
- Optimize the app’s UX for seamless ordering and reordering.
- Address delivery issues and product quality concerns swiftly with a robust feedback mechanism.
Revenue Growth from Existing Customers
AOV (Average Order Value) Enhancement:
- Easy to apply hacks like combo packs to frequently bought items at check-out to drive upsell.
Subscription Plans:
- Scale app-exclusive subscriptions for essentials with custom delivery preferences including long-term subscriptions.
New Customer Acquisition & Growth
Hyper-Targeted Campaigns:
- Utilize paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic ads) for geographies with high dairy consumption, specifically in the existing markets/states of Karnataka, TN and Telangana.
New Initiatives
- Referral programs to content-led hacks for consistent growth cycles.
- Data-Driven Marketing Automation (based on clear data-backed findings).
Customer Journeys:
- Implement dynamic customer journeys based on app behavior (e.g., first purchase, high-frequency users).
Predictive Analytics:
- Use machine learning to predict churn risk and high-LTV customers.
- Offer targeted promotions for high-risk users.
Performance Dashboards:
- Set up real-time dashboards tracking revenue metrics, churn, and retention performance.
Product Optimization for Growth
Feature Enhancements:
- Regularly survey customers to identify product gaps or improvements.
Growth Reporting & KPI Tracking
Coaching the core marketing team
- Weekly and monthly reports covering:
- Retention metrics (churn rate, repeat purchase rate).
- MoM revenue growth split by new vs. returning users.
- CAC and LTV analysis for sustained profitability.
- Coaching and mentoring the core marketing team, re-aligning the performance-led team structure.
Job Requirements/Mandatory Skills
- Masters in Business Administration from a reputed college into Marketing or Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Experience working as a Growth Marketing Specialist.
- Expertise in cohort analysis, RFM segmentation, and deriving actionable insights.
- Experience in designing and executing win-back, upsell, and cross-sell campaigns using push notifications, SMS, and email.
- Proficient in optimizing app UX/UI and implementing effective feedback systems.
- Skilled in boosting AOV with strategies like combo packs and scaling subscription plans.
- Strong command over Google Ads, Meta Ads, and hyper-targeted campaigns.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools, churn prediction, and real-time performance tracking.
- Ability to enhance product features and act on customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Proficient in reporting retention metrics, revenue growth, and mentoring marketing teams.
