Job Title: Manager, Events, GroupM, North America
Summary:
GroupM is seeking a Manager, Events to join our Marketing team. The Manager, Events will work on the development and execution of events that promote the GroupM brand and drive engagement. This role will work closely with the Group Director, Marketing to support events for GroupM and its agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and execute events that align with GroupM’s objectives.
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Support the creation and production of engaging and on-brand event experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgets, timelines and onsite execution.
- Define event goals, target audience, and success metrics, ensuring each event contributes to the overall marketing and communications strategy.
- Oversee event marketing and promotional activities, including invitations, online registration and collateral.
- Oversee post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on marketing and event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement and ROI.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities to enhance GroupM’s efforts.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in events, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Agency experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute with attention to detail.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Experience with project management software and CRM tools preferred.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
