We need a Senior Manager of Paid Media to lead our TikTok advertising efforts, optimize campaign performance, and mentor offshore teams to drive exceptional ROI and audience engagement.

This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

Lead and manage the execution of paid media campaigns for TikTok, overseeing a media budget and ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
Serve as a subject matter expert and "player-coach," stepping in to provide strategic recommendations and pivots on high-stakes accounts to drive better results.
Manage and mentor a growing team, including offshore staff in Serbia and India, ensuring seamless collaboration and performance tracking.
Oversee the tracking and management of all paid media dollars, ensuring accurate allocation and oversight of campaign performance outside of influencer partnerships.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

Proven experience managing paid media campaigns, particularly on TikTok, with a track record of driving successful results.
In-house agency experience with the ability to manage multiple brands and effectively switch between different accounts and strategies.
Strong budget management skills, with experience overseeing substantial media spend and ensuring efficient use of funds.
Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment, particularly on TikTok, adapting to platform-specific nuances.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with teams, including offshore teams, to ensure smooth execution of media strategies.
Experience managing or collaborating with creative teams, with an understanding of generating creative assets and hooks that resonate with target audiences.
Familiarity with TikTok Shop or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus, but not required.

First 60 Days:

By the end of 60 days, success is measured by the implementation of optimized campaign strategies that demonstrate early signs of improved performance. The Senior Manager should establish clear communication channels with the creative team, contributing to the development of engaging ad content. Additionally, they should begin mentoring team members, fostering a sense of accountability and creativity, and ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.

First 90 Days:

In the first 90 days, success entails showcasing measurable results from refined media campaigns, with tangible improvements in ROI and audience engagement. The Senior Manager should lead the team in generating innovative campaign ideas and strategies, demonstrating leadership and vision in driving media performance. Furthermore, they should establish best practices for campaign management and reporting, creating a robust framework for ongoing optimization and future growth within the TikTok platform.

What is the team like?

You will work with the other members of the creator marketing team and be supervised by the Head of Client Success. You will also be mentored by the VP of Creator Strategy and Operations and meet with them occasionally. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
