OverviewZenith is looking for a talented VP, Comms Planning to manage the Integrated Marketing approach and strategy development across the Publicis Media team. This person will be integral in the development, execution, and stewardship of integrated marketing plans to cover all Paid, Owned and Earned channels. In addition to working with our internal media experts to guide plan development and execution, the VP, Comms Planning will also be partnering with Creative agencies and the client to ensure that the strategy speaks to all disciplines and is executed as planned. The VP effectively utilizes experience, knowledge, and skills to push strategic thinking while balancing client and team needs. This position reports directly to the SVP, Strategy.
Responsibilities- Leverage a deep understanding of media channels, industry trends, category and consumer insights, to develop strategic recommendations that will deliver long and short-term growth for the client’s business.
- Develop annual media strategies to guide campaign planning and key moments of activation across all Paid, Owned and Earned channels.
- Identify and recommend new media opportunities to support key marketing and communication initiatives.
- Effectively manage projects and resources, to consistently meet internal and client timelines.
- Develop data driven insights & data pack for deep human understanding workshop, Help prioritize the jobs to be done across the consumer journey
- Facilitate IAT workshops to get to clearer solutions for the communications plan
- Set up strategic comms framework, Define the ecosystem with all of IAT, Develop an asset matrix
- Develop data driven response & experience ecosystem
- Identify and promote best practices, driving collaboration to ensure learnings and best practices are applied across the broader team.
- Supports as team lead on client’s business and oversees all aspects of the assigned LOB(s)
- Oversees a team of 3-4 direct reports who manage media plan development, implementation, and execution
- Provide direction, management, and support to direct and indirect reports
- Supervising, training and developing staff (managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy, performance management)
Qualifications- B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science or Data Science
- 10+ years of experience preferred in digital media, ad technology, ad operations, or analytics
- Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute
- Experience in leading data science workstreams and leveraging audience data to make strategic decisions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
- Familiarity with accounting/math principles; statistical analysis experience is a plus

- Develop/Demonstrate a deep understating of Zenith media tools, data collection, and insight development
- Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Nielsen, Kantar Software, IMS, Social Tracking tools, Comscore, Consumer Syndicated Tools. Understand its capabilities and applications to translate data into actionable insights
- Solid written and verbal skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
- Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each media type
- Meet client and internal deadlines and obligations
- Manage projects, resources, stakeholders, and participants
- Be a resource to others in developing recommendations to complex business problems/issues
- Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in a discussion to field complex or sensitive questions from clients/internal groups

Compensation Range: $200,500 - $210,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
