Overview

Budget Analyst is a position that supports the Client Finance- Budget team, and works closely with production budgets. The Budget Analyst role will partner with the Cost Control team on the current statuses of production jobs in order to provide the most current and accurate spend analysis to our clients. This role will also require close communication with the Production and CPG teams as they will advise on current spend to budget of each job. Additionally, the Budget Analyst will assist with timesheet related tasks as it impacts the agency fees.

Success for this position is measured by the ability to understand agency processes, client requirements, eagerness to learn and grow within the position, manage multiple projects successfully to completion and demonstrate strong organizational skills. This is also accomplished by understanding the production process and ability to develop a strong partnership with Production and Client Partner teams which are key for this role.

An ideal candidate will be self-driven, organized, have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task. Additionally, advanced Excel skills is preferred and a minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Generate and analyze monthly client billing and accrual reports
Audit job status and billing report to ensure accuracy of client billing codes
Support with managing client production budget reports
Generate and create ad hoc reports
Review timesheet reports, assist with system access and trouble shoot issues

Qualifications

Ability to manage and meet all client deadlines
Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
Working well in a collaborative, team environment, accountable and dependable
Communicate internal and externally, across multiple levels, with clarity, honesty and integrity while demonstrating exceptional verbal and on-screen presentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience in advertising a plus
An advanced level of experience in Excel
Knowledge of SAP a plus

Compensation Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
