The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for conducting data analyses using SAS/SQL/Python and other tools in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities
- Develop analytical frameworks to answer questions/solve business problems.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Hypothesis testing and reporting statistically significant results
- Create and present data-driven insights to client/stakeholders, proficient with storytelling from the generated insights
- Project Management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal support
- Mentor/hand-hold junior team members on technical/problem-solving aspects
- Apply multiple algorithms or architectures and recommend the best model with in-depth description to evangelize data-driven business decisions.
- Structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models, and bring clarity to identified problems.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to effectively communicate data-driven insights
- Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, high levels of accountability in maintaining data integrity.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics)
- 5-8 years of experience in the analytics field; Marketing analytics experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL(Must) and Tableau/Power BI/SAS (good to have).
- Hands-on experience on Data Science projects, developing Predictive / ML models is mandatory.
- Experience in Databricks environment would be a plus.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Anyone from computer science, economics and mathematics discipline would be preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud environments would be preferred.
