What we’re looking for: A Vice President for MSL’s Healthcare practice.
What you bring to the table: Significant experience in healthcare communications with a focus on executing impactful initiatives in the healthcare space and beyond. This role will be part of an integrated team and offer the ability to build strong, deep relationships with clients. The candidate is a true team player with ability to move projects effectively, on time and on budget, and with excellence.
What you’ll do:Anchored on one of the agency’s largest accounts, the VP will join a highly engaged team collaborating with a client at the forefront of revolutionizing obesity and cardiometabolic healthcare. This role provides an extensive range of opportunities to touch all facets of healthcare communications, including data/regulatory milestones, celebrity and influencer engagement, partnerships, media relations, digital oversight, creative execution, strategic ideation, client leadership and much more. You will truly be a part of moving the needle for our clients, patients and consumers by being a part of one of the biggest headlines in healthcare right now.

Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of and implement creative strategic programs that produce superior media and business results for healthcare clients
- Manage multiple data milestones, including support for regulatory approvals data publications and medical meeting communications
- Manage account team members to effectively implement and deliver desired program results on-time and on-budget
- Serve as a daily trusted client advisor and resource
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on client plans across creative, strategy, digital and media
- Monitor projects to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met
- Oversee client financials and project tracking against budgets
- Set and meet campaign measurement and evaluation criteria
- Identify training and development needs of early career staff and provide opportunities which enable staff members to reach their full potential
- Drive innovative ideas that elevate client results, using deep industry knowledge and media trends to inform client counsel
- Partner with practice leadership to promote positive client relationship and exceed client expectations
Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in public relations or public affairs at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
- Significant experience providing counsel to senior clients
- Experience leading high-performing teams and mentoring early career team members
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solution-oriented approach to address client and team challenges
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Additional InformationCompensation Range: $115,000-$194,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
