About the Role
Guardian Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Ad Operations Specialist to join their team in the Sydney office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the AdOperations and sales team in developing strategies, campaign forecasts and recommendations for client briefs, ensuring campaign goals are met.
- Support the coordination of weekly WIP meetings with key stakeholders to monitor and track campaign performance.
- Act as a supporting point of contact for Ad Operations, liaising with sales teams and internal departments to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Review and process campaign bookings from start to end, including processing Insertion Orders, booking elements in various ad management platforms to ensure timely delivery and meeting intended objectives.
- Assist with setup, optimisation, and monitoring of campaigns, tracking key performance metrics and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Troubleshoot basic issues related to ad delivery under guidance from senior team members.
- Conduct basic QA checks on creative materials to ensure adherence to advertising specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist with reporting and analysis of campaign performance.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Working knowledge of media industry
- Media sales or agency experience highly desirable
- Project management experience an advantage
- Understanding of marketing objectives and digital sales implementation
- B2B experience highly desirable
- Relevant media background with client-facing role desirable
- Understanding of Guardian's editorial integrity
- Strong interest in and understanding of Guardian brand
