The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Role Summary/Purpose
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Agency committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this agency, our Paid Media Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers. We are seeking a Paid Search Analyst to serve as a hands-on-keyboard SEM strategist and analyst, supporting business partners across the enterprise. This role will execute/optimize campaigns for our business partners, collaborating with analytics and operations
Key Responsibilities
- Assist paid search campaign planning, development, execution, optimization and reporting process
- Work directly with paid search team as the extended arm on initial campaign planning as well as weekly performance reviews
- Own keyword research/analysis, copy development, bid strategy and budget allocation
- Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize based on KPI's
- Complete routine optimizations such as SQR review, ad copy analysis, keyword analysis, etc.
- Analyze account daily and identify new and existing optimization as well as test and learn opportunities
- Complete ad hoc and reoccurring deliverables on time and with high quality
- Assist ongoing testing plan to get new learning and improve campaign performance
- Document test-and-learn initiatives and share across businesses
- Understand the technical build of everything paid search as well as all Google and Bing Ads tactics (PMAX, Demand Gen, MSAN, 1st Data Customer Match, etc.)
- Collaborate with analytics on measurement, tagging and reporting
- Collaborate with audience team on audience file push and match
- Collaborate with earned team on integrated SEO/SEM keyword strategy and landing page content optimization
- Collaborate with programmatic, paid social and media strategy teams on cross channel deliverables, budget allocation and integrated performance report
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Marketing, or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of experience in Marketing.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar technical role.
- Minimum 2+ Years of experience in BFSI sector.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns from planning and execution to optimization and reporting
- Well-versed in paid search keyword research, ad copy buildouts, bid strategy, copy and landing page test development, as well as all other daily optimization tactics
- Experience with paid search management platforms (ie. SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads)
- Demonstrated strength in analytical skills and thinking; proficient in Excel and PPT
Desired Skills/Knowledge
- Experience working on B2C and B2B campaigns; experience working in financial category a plus
- Knowledge in paid media tagging strategy, structure and workflow
- Excellent team skills; flexibility to pivot with strategy, regulatory and market evolution
- Proven collaborative skill sets, experience developing plans and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative and resourceful; Proven ability to problem solve and look for new ideas
- Strong project management and communication skills; Detail oriented and organized
- Agency experience preferred
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Marketing, or in lieu of a degree 4+ Years of experience in Marketing.
Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
