Job Description
As the Paid Media Planner, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased fashion perception by setting customer-centric communication plans across specified paid media channels. You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving customer development & profitable sales and brand growth in your sales market through locally relevant paid media channels; in strong alignemtnw ith the regional stakeholders and global paid media team.
Your strategic thinking involves goal-setting, audience definition, and selecting suitable channels and ad formats, aligning with marketing objectives and budget constraints. You leverage strong analytical skills to optimize advertising campaigns, interpreting metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI, and CPA, as well as Recognition, Consideration and Purchase Intent. As a Paid Media Planner, you have a keen eye to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaign elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute paid media plans and advertising campaigns connected to the strategy, budget and goals in your market that align with the overall marketing objectives and budget direction.
- Secure media investments that are optimized towards performance and brand goals, ensuring channel performance from a sales and consumer/customer perspective.
- Responsible for driving customer growth, retention and as well as attract new customers via local paid channels.
- Use strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance metrics, such as Recognition, Consideration, Purchase Intent as well as short- and long-term ROI.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a retail-focused Customer Activation & Marketing department.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as the Paid Media Planner, you should have a strong commercial focus and are insight- and data-driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You leverage strong analytical skills to optimize advertising campaigns, interpreting metrics such as brand KPIs, conversion rates, ROI, and CPA. You have a keen eye to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaign elements.
What you need to succeed:
- Marketing, Communication or business degree/relevant experience.
- Analytical thinker with broad marketing & media skills with focus on digital media channels.
- Strategic experience with driving brand & customer growth for different target groups, preferably from relevant local markets.
- Solid understanding of local media landscape and how media agencies operate.
- Experience setting and managing large media budgets in Japan media.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken Japanese and English.
- Knowledge in other languages is meriting.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position, reporting to the Media & Operations Manager – NEA.
The working location for this role is in Tokyo, Japan.
