About The Role
MG OMD are searching for an experienced PPC Account Director to join their award-winning team, across the Giffgaff account. This person will find themselves working closely with all the major search (PPC) platforms to deliver best-in-class advertising campaigns for some of the UK's biggest household brands.
The Account Director will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the implementation of planned strategies, alignment with MG and client business goals, and adherence to commercial agreements
- Leading and setting the strategic direction for search across their accounts
- Mapping growth opportunities through the search maturity framework
- Advocating for the strategic direction to clients and stakeholders
- Providing ad hoc support for new business pitches
As an Account Director you should be:
- 100% confident in your knowledge of paid search
- Comfortable recommending strategies & tactics to clients
- Experienced in integrated search campaign management
- Able to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard
Required Experience
- In-depth working knowledge of Google Ads platform
- Experience with SA360 and other bid management platforms (bonus)
- Platform Experience: Google and Microsoft Ads
- Search Ads 360 experience (preferred but not essential)

- Client Management: Engage with clients and senior stakeholders

Planning:
- Plan efficiently and deliver detailed responses
- Work collaboratively with internal teams
- Monitor performance and respond to actuals vs forecasts
Client Management:
- Communicate efficiently and professionally
- Remain calm during unforeseen circumstances
- Be present and supportive during client reporting meetings
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Manage and work with specialists
- Monitor campaign performance daily
- Support team through training and management
- Work with Business Director on technology innovation
- Support MG OMD with various tasks
