The Team
- The planning team are our clients’ key contacts; we are confident on all aspects of the media strategy & media planning.
- As marketplace & media experts, we own the process & media plans from curation to execution & analysis, and must constantly think as the client does, and with a growth mindset
Responsibilities- Leadership & Output: Support the Business Director and lead the team’s day-to-day activities to deliver outstanding work consistently.
- Client Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with mid-level clients while ensuring exceptional client service from the team.
- Operational Excellence: Drive the team to achieve operational excellence and act as the strategic lynchpin for delivering the best results.
- Commercial Awareness: Understand account profitability, identify growth opportunities, and manage client contracts effectively.
- Team Development: Manage and mentor a team of managers/executives, setting clear progression plans and fostering positive relationships with agencies and suppliers.
- Agency Collaboration: Participate in agency initiatives, showcase best work, and strengthen cross-departmental and peer relationships.
QualificationsTo ensure this role is a suitable match for you, we are looking for the following requirements:
- Extensive experience in creating multi-channel media strategies across digital, TV, OOH, print, and audio, aligned with client objectives.
- Ability to turn client briefs into effective media plans that optimise audience reach and campaign performance.
- Proficient in tools like TGI, Nielsen, and Google Analytics to inform strategies and monitor performance.
- Proven leadership in mentoring media planning teams, ensuring flawless execution and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in managing cross-channel campaigns from strategy to execution, ensuring cohesion and effectiveness.
- Experience in handling large media budgets, maximising ROI while maintaining financial accountability.
- Strong ability to collaborate with buying, activation, and performance teams to ensure integrated and seamless execution.
- Deep knowledge of media metrics (CPM, CPA, etc.) to track, optimise, and report on campaign performance.
- Up-to-date with media trends, including programmatic and data-driven targeting, applying innovations in strategies.
- Skilled in negotiating with media vendors to secure advantageous rates and valuable opportunities.
- Excellent at presenting media plans, results, and insights to clients and internal teams effectively.
