ResponsibilitiesAs a Planning Manager at Publicis Media, you will lead the development of comprehensive media strategies that align with client business goals, overseeing the entire planning process from initial brief to campaign execution. You will manage a team of planners, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure media strategies are innovative, data-driven, and performance-oriented. The role also involves fostering strong client relationships, optimising campaign outcomes, and ensuring efficient budget management.
- Lead the creation of integrated media strategies that drive client objectives.
- Manage a team of planners and ensure seamless execution and optimization of media plans.
- Support Planning Director to deliver outstanding work every time
- Be the go-to person for day-to-day output of the team and campaign delivery
- Ensure you and Execs deliver operational excellence
- Be the lead for smaller response to client briefs
- Look for proactive media opportunities to share with the client
QualificationsTo ensure this role is a suitable match for you, we are looking for the following requirements:
- Media Strategy Experience: Experience in developing and managing media strategies across digital, TV, OOH, and other channels.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring client objectives are met.
- Campaign Management: Strong experience overseeing the execution of media campaigns from briefing to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are adhered to.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using media tools (e.g., Google Analytics, TGI, Comscore) to track and optimize campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working closely with internal teams (planning, activation, data) to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Budget Management: Solid experience managing media budgets, optimizing spend to maximize performance, and maintaining financial accountability.
- Reporting & Presentation: Skilled in preparing and presenting post-campaign reports, offering clear insights and recommendations to clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of current media trends and platforms, with the ability to incorporate the latest innovations into media strategies.
