Job Overview
The Business Development Director will work as part of the global Sales Team, responsible for generating new leads, closing new business, and up-selling within current client accounts. The role requires cooperation among stakeholders in the sales cycle process and may involve some traveling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of company's services including Paid Media Advertising, Programmatic Advertising, SEO, Content Marketing, Web Analytics, and Conversion Optimization
- Promote Welocalize's and Adapt's competitive value in the Multilingual Digital Marketing Industry
- Research and analyze industries to identify new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Work with Program Directors and Account Managers to create account plans, RFPs, SOWs, and quotes
- Collaborate with digital marketing operations teams
- Work in a global team defining service offerings
- Take responsibility for designated clients and projects
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Participate in industry conferences
- Generate profitable sales meeting territory objectives
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Demonstrate and educate service value to buyers
- Provide territory market intelligence
- Accurately plan and report sales-related metrics
- Generate qualified pipeline for new and existing clients
- Complete sales reporting and forecasts
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Business Development experience with proven success in services sales
- Sales experience in Digital Marketing industry
- Localization industry sales experience preferred
- Experience working with monthly/yearly sales quota
- Proficiency with Salesforce or related CRM
- Proven track record of lead procurement and account management
