Job Overview
Real Chemistry is looking for a Group Director, Social to join our growing team! If you pride yourself on staying on the cutting edge of social media, you'll love continuing to grow in your career at Real Chemistry.
This role can be remote in the US or in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, or Philadelphia.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrates strong expertise across the social media spectrum and multi-dimensional healthcare experience targeting a range of audiences (consumer, HCP, industry.)
- Drives social strategy development and liaises with account team and cross-functional colleagues in a positive, proactive, consistent manner
- Holds oneself accountable for driving strategy and ensuring executional excellence, supervising junior team members on key projects
- Able to develop/present client proposals/POVs and drive tactical planning efforts
- Seasoned strategic advisor who can flex and counsel across different social media channels, and program types
- Responsible for driving strategic insights informed by analytics and accountable for the execution of said programs
- Oversees new business and organic growth
- Directly supervise staff and promote continuous learning and development to help build a high performing culture
- Key partner to our client's other agency partners

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in an Advertising agency or in-house client setting
- Must have experience working with clients within the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep knowledge of popular social media channels, both at a user and creative level
- Understanding of the ever-changing digital landscape
- Ability to manage multiple organic and paid content calendars through development, activation, and measurement
- Strong expertise in working with creative teams
- Exceptional presentation skills — both verbal and written, formal and informal
- Project management experience
- Supervisory skills with ability to manage and cultivate junior staff
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Passionate about collaborating with other specialists to advance storytelling capabilities
- Dedicated to developing next generation of digital storytellers
Compensation
Pay Range: $185,000.00-$210,000.00
Work Approach
Real Chemistry has a Hybrid and Regional Teams approach, encouraging employees near offices to work in-person two days per week, while supporting remote work with quarterly collaboration opportunities.
